Whether your stay here is for a few days or a few years, youll come to know Fort Belvoir as more than a beautiful place to call home. What youll see at Fort Belvoir is the tireless work of more than 22,000 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Department of Defense civilians who are committed to the work of Americas defense, and to supporting Fort Belvoirs expanding role as the Armys flagship installation serving Americas warfighters. As a strategic sustaining base for Americas armed forces, the work done at Fort Belvoir is vital to the success of the goals and objectives of the nations defense strategy. Fort Belvoir is home to more than 100 Army, DoD and federal agencies, including three major Army command headquarters. The installations mission is to provide both logistical and administrative support to a diverse mix of tenant and satellite organizations.
