A Soldier notified PMO that his vehicle had been damaged by a rodent April 24. An investigation revealed that three other vehicles had sustained damages by a rodent. The Directorate of Installation Services placed a trap to catch the rodent. Damages to the all three vehicles total $4,000.
A Soldier reported a theft April 25. He secured his vehicle and when he came back two hours later he discovered his GPS was missing. There were no signs of forced entry or damage. The estimated cost of the GPS is $240.
April 28, a civilian leaving Fort Detrick, driving a government vehicle struck a POVs rear bumper. Damages to the POV consist of a six-inch dent and minor scratches and scrapes.
A civilian made a left turn in an empty parking space in a government truck April 28. He misjudged the distance between him and the POV he struck. He struck the left rear fender of the POV. As a result, there was a dent to the left rear fender.
May 5, there was a 911 call. An investigation revealed a Soldier had been drinking and became ill.
PMO was notified by email of an abandoned vehicle in the back of the Auto Craft Shop. An initial investigation revealed the owner had dropped his two cars off for repair. Further investigation showed the vehicles had expired registration. Initial attempts to locate the owner were unsuccessful. The cars have been towed.
