Everyone is welcome at the Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting of the Marine Corps Exchange Sound Shop Tuesday, May 20, 11 a.m. The new shop features an increased selection of high definition digital cable-ready televisions and an improved shopping environment on the first floor of the exchange. Refreshments will be served, and drawings for door prizes will be conducted. MCCS employees are ineligible to win.

Free Pre-Memorial Day Barbecue to take place

MCCS holds a free barbecue lunch for servicemembers and civilian employees working or living aboard Henderson Hall Thursday, May 22, 11:30 a.m. on the deck behind Marine Club. The barbecue will be served after a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new deck. The winner of the ìName the Deckî contest, Mr. Tommy Swan, will receive a $100 MCX gift card at the ceremony for his entry. Door prizes also will be drawn for; MCCS employees are ineligible for the drawing. A pool opening party follows the barbecue. The pool party features games and contests. Everyone is welcome to participate.
