Bethesda’s Navy Exchange Gas Station Closes for Fuel Upgrades

The National Naval Medical Center’s Exchange fuel station will close its pumps Wednesday at 11 a.m. for fuel upgrades until May 26. The closing of the pumps will allow all fuels to be upgraded to help staff members’ vehicles run more efficiently. Call Don Collinge at (301) 295-6340 for more information.

Bethesda Staff Members Invited to Compete in Obstacle Competition

The National Naval Medical Center’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation and Adventure Bound offices invite staff members and their guests to compete in an obstacle course challenge Saturday. Cost of the trip is $22 for staff members and $45 for their guests. Call (301) 319-8431 for more information.

Blue Angels Headlining Andrews Air Force Base Air Show This Weekend

Andrews Air Force Base will host the 2008 Joint Service Open House Air Show this weekend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday’s show is for Defense Department employees only. Saturday and Sundays shows are free and open to the public. The Navy’s flight demonstration team the Blue Angels will headline all three shows. Bethesda Hosts 3rd Annual Civilian Career Development Fair Wednesday

The National Naval Medical Center is hosting its 3rd annual civilian career development fair Wednesday in the hallways in Bldgs. 3 and 4 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Booths will be set up to help staff members with knowledge, skills and resume writing.

New Common Access Card Secured Logon Implementation Starting Today

Staff members with last names beginning with ‘‘A” will be the first to use the Cryptologic logon. Soon logons will require common access cards and personal identification numbers instead of a username and password.
