English, math tutorial software available at education center
If you are having trouble with either English or math, the Lifelong Learning Education Center has new tutorial software available. Sometimes potential college students or high school students need help with writing or math skills. The Lifelong Learning Center is a pilot for the Lifetime Library, a new software system that teaches the basic skills necessary for academic success. But learners learn in a new way, independently and at their own pace in a multimedia learning environment. The design and development of the program was guided by well-established principles of adult education, cognitive learning, multi-media design and media theory.
This is an excellent tool for adult learners, high school students and English as a second language student. This service is free to service members and their family and Quantico employees. If you are anxious to boost your math, reading, or writing skills come to the Lifelong Learning Center, 3088 Roan Street, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and give this new technology a try.

Drivers Training will be conducting a child safety seat check May 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The location will be in the Lejeune Hall parking lot area. Look for the signs.
The child safety seat check is available to all DOD personnel and their families. The proper installation and condition of your existing child seat will be examined and adjusted as needed.
