Calling All Dahlgren School Alumni!
As part of Dahlgren’s 90th Anniversary Celebration, a reunion of Dahlgren School students will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at the school. Events will include tours of the school, a presentation by current Dahlgren School students and exhibits with historic photos and memories of the school. Attendees will park at Bldg. 1200 and walk to the school for the reunion. For more information, call (866) 359-5540.

Navy Birthday Celebration Scheduled
Tickets are now available for Dahlgren’s celebration of the Navy’s 233rd birthday. This year’s Navy Ball will be held Friday, Oct. 10 from 6 p.m. – midnight at the Fredericksburg Hospitality House and Conference Center.

Tickets are $50 for military O-4 and above, government civilians GS-12 and above, retired military, contractors and guests; $40 for military E-7 through E-9, W-1 through W-4 and O-1 through O-3, and government civilians GS-7 through GS-11; $30 for military E-5 through E-6 and government civilians GS-4 through GS-6; and $10 for military E-1 through E-4 and government civilians GS-1 through GS-3. Hispanic Heritage Observance Planned
NSF Dahlgren will hold a Hispanic Heritage Month Observance on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Base Theater, Bldg. 117. Keynote speaker will be Ms. Maria Isabel Martinez-Mira, Professort of Linguistics at Mary Washington University. Food sampling will be sponsored by the Hispanic Association. All are invited to attend!

Dahlgren’s 90th Anniversary Celebration
Plan to attend the Dahlgren 90th Anniversary Celebration on the Parade Field on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 1 – 5 p.m. This event will include food vendors, games and rides for the kids, a craft fair, classic car show, live music from ‘‘Old School” and exhibits and demonstrations of Dahlgren’s 90 year history. Dahlgren Plans Coat Drive Beginning Oct. 3
The Sacred Heart Congregation of Dahlgren Chapel will be holding a coat drive beginning Oct. 3. Please bring your gently used coats of all sizes and for all ages. Drop- off boxes can be found at the Housing Office, Fleet & Family Support Center, Library, Chapel Annex, and Bldg. 1450 near the Seagate CafÈ. Coats can also be dropped off in the Station Theater parking lot on Oct. 17 and Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Clean out your closets while making this winter warmer for those in need!

FFSC Scheduling Legal Appointments

Calling All Classic Cars!

Weight Watchers at Work
Weight Watchers at Work will hold an open house for a new session on Nov.5 at the Chapel Annex at 11 a.m. A new session will begin on Nov.12. We must have at least 15 people to begin a new session! For more information, please contact Darlene Keating at (540) 653-7993.

Navy Federal Credit Union Coat Drive
NFCU is conducting a coat drive to benefit the Children’s Aid Society of Charles County. Bring your gently-used coats of all sizes and place in drop box located in the credit union lobby. Help provide a warm winter for those less fortunate!

Navy College Office Representative
A representative of the Navy College Office will be in the MWR gym office on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Energetic Toastmasters
Do you want to become a better speaker and develop leadership skills? Toastmasters can help! All are welcome, whether you work in a corporate environment or from home, or are a student or retiree. Toastmasters is the most efficient, enjoyable and affordable way of gaining communication and leadership skills. Indian Head “Energetic“ Toastmasters Club 3173, a member of Toastmasters International, meets the first and third Wednesday of every month from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the Bldg. 20 Ward Room.
